James I Oak Table

A very rare James I oak table, the enclosed cupboard with two panelled doors above a concealed drawer. English, circa 1610-20.

To the right, is a George II oak lambing chair of impressive proportions. To the left, is a William and Mary oak panel-back armchair, with shaped wings and arched cresting between two most unusual heart-shaped finials.

In the background is a late 17th Century Aubusson tapestry showing the traditional chateau with a lake and exotic birds in the foreground.

Width 51 inches, depth 23.75 inches, height 32 inches.
